Safety first, ALPA held fire safety training
In order to further strengthen the staff’s fire safety awareness, promote the company’s fire safety publicity, improve the staff’s ability of fire prevention, fire fighting and self-protection, and urge the staff to actively do a good job in fire safety work. Shandong ALPA Powder Technology Co., Ltd. invited instructors from the fire propaganda center to the factory to publicize and popularize fire related knowledge for employees in the production workshop.
Publicity work is mainly divided into four links. First, the policy, purpose and significance of fire safety work. Second, the instructor explained the four abilities of fire safety work and the person responsible for the fire. Then, the pictures and equipment were displayed to facilitate the staff to understand the fire fighting equipment. Finally, the use method of dry powder fire extinguisher and the storage location of multi site fire fighting equipment were demonstrated on site.
Combined with the typical fire cases in recent years and the losses caused by improper use of fire-fighting facilities, the fire instructor vividly elaborated the importance of popularizing fire safety knowledge and enhancing fire awareness, and introduced the formation process of fire from four aspects of fire prevention, fire fighting, escape and self-help A series of fire safety knowledge, such as self rescue and escape methods, types and operation methods of fire extinguisher, and combined with the actual situation of the factory and the nature of the goods stored in the warehouse, this paper introduces the fire safety knowledge, such as the harmfulness of the fire, how to put out the incipient fire, how to escape from the fire and self rescue and evacuation, in simple terms. The trainees are deeply educated.
The fire instructor reminded the staff to pay attention to the safety of fire, electricity and gas in daily production and warehouse storage, and often checked the fire hazards. Then, the factory’s indoor fire-fighting facilities were inspected to ensure that they were complete and easy to use.
Through the fire training, the staff further enhanced their fire awareness, learned a lot of fire safety knowledge, mastered basic fire fighting skills, improved their self rescue and escape skills in dangerous situations, and effectively achieved the purpose of publicity and training activities. Employees have said that they have benefited a lot, and they will apply the knowledge they have learned to practical work to prevent major fire accidents.
